For sweet 16s
Sweet 16 DJ song request app
A room full of teenagers with phones: let them request from those phones, set a limit per guest, and keep anything off-limits off the list.
What you get at a sweet 16
- A per-guest request limit, so one friend can't take over the night
- Do-not-play songs and artists refused before they reach you
- Shout-outs written for sweet 16s
VIP links
Give the birthday girl or boy, parents and best friends their own request link: their songs go to the top of your list, with a dedication on the screen.
How it works
- Create the party
Pick the Birthday look and send VIP links.
- Put up the booth screen
Guests scan the code on it and request songs from their phones.
- Play
Requests show up ranked next to your decks and are marked played as you go.
Questions about sweet 16s
Can I keep certain songs off the list?
Put songs or artists on the do-not-play list and guests can't request them.
What if everyone requests the same song?
Duplicates merge into one request with a count, so you see what the room wants most.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the code on the booth screen with their phone's camera, or type a six-letter code at partycue.app.
Which DJ software does it work with?
Serato DJ Pro on a Mac gets a menu-bar app that shows who asked when you load a request and marks songs played. Requests also land in an Apple Music or Spotify Requests playlist, and the console works on any laptop or iPad.
