For birthday parties
Birthday party DJ song request app
From a 30th on a rooftop to a 60th in the backyard: guests scan, request, and see where their song stands, so they stop walking up to the booth.
What you get at a birthday party
- A birthday look for the booth screen, with what's playing and what's next
- VIP links with dedications that show on the screen when the song plays
- Birthday shout-out scripts, in English and Spanish
- Top requesters, so you can give the most enthusiastic guest a shout-out
VIP links
Give the guest of honor, family and the hosts their own request link: their songs go to the top of your list, with a dedication on the screen.
How it works
- Create the party
Pick the Birthday look and send VIP links.
- Put up the booth screen
Guests scan the code on it and request songs from their phones.
- Play
Requests show up ranked next to your decks and are marked played as you go.
Questions about birthday parties
Does it work for a small party?
Yes. It works the same for 20 guests or 300; all you need is the booth screen or the six-letter code.
Can the host see requests?
The host can be a VIP with their own link and song allowance.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. They scan the code on the booth screen with their phone's camera, or type a six-letter code at partycue.app.
Which DJ software does it work with?
Serato DJ Pro on a Mac gets a menu-bar app that shows who asked when you load a request and marks songs played. Requests also land in an Apple Music or Spotify Requests playlist, and the console works on any laptop or iPad.
